Did You Know?:

Myron E. Scott is credited with creation of the All-American Soap Box Derby, the first of which was held in Dayton on August 19, 1934. His idea stemmed from watching neighborhood kids racing with crude homemade vehicles. He was incredibly enthusiastic, which led him to acquire a copyright and, subsequently, sponsorship from Chevrolet in 1935.
